4-H Tech Wizards Summer Day Camps

Date: June 20 - August 26, 2005

4-H Tech Wizards Summer Day Camps begin June 20 and continue Mondays through Fridays all summer! 250 elementary aged youth will learn Lego Robotics, Computer literacy, Microscopes and Cameras, digital music composition and presentation software, GPS and healthy outdoor activities, as well as how to make their own nutritious snacks. Camp staff includes professional educators as well as 4-H Tech Wizard high school camp counselors. Campers spend 1-2 weeks, 5 afternoons a week participating in fun learning activities that also support common curriculum goals in math, science, and technology.

The 4-H Tech Wizard Day Camps are made possible through the generous support of Intel Corporation, PGE Foundation, Hewlett-Packard Company, Hillsboro Police Department, Hillsboro School District, Wyndhaven and Sunset Gardens Apartments, Centro Cultural, OSU Extension Service Washington County, and the Washington County 4-H Leaders Association.
