Board Committees:

Executive Committee:

• This committee has oversight responsibility for the Strategic Plan of the Association, and the executive director, to ensure the viability, relevance, and value of 4-H in Washington County.

Resource Development:

• Developing and implementing a comprehensive Resource Development Plan
• Establishing partnerships with businesses and obtaining grants for the 4-H program are as part of their plan.
• Establishing an endowment to ensure 4-H sustainability

Promotion & Marketing:

• This committee is focused on making 4-H more visible, valued, and accessible to both 4-H members and anyone else who does not already know about 4-H. Current projects include:
  • Developing and implementing the marketing plan
  • Maintaining this web site,
  • Developing marketing and promotional materials, and
  • Increasing 4-H advertising and information in the media.

Finance:

• An integral part of any organization, the finance committee implements the annual budget in accordance with the strategic financial plan.
