My home computer has finally died after many years. It is time to buy something new. This computer is very clear and bright. The keyboard is very comfortable. Reading a DVD-writer is flat and calm. Windows 7 is also similar to the previous system, but there are some very good benefits and services. Overall, I would recommend this machine for public use an Internet connection. Save Compaq Presario CQ61-410US 15 6-inch laptop (Black) to Windows 7 in my idea! Love the computer, but even more I love Windows 7! It is quite easy to use, even after a month to use it, I still havent ‘played’ with all the stuff to it. still learning, but it is easy to use. I got the basics right, I asked, just what I needed, and is a great computer while traveling. The only thing I’m not very happy with the speakers. too quiet. especially when compared to my old HP Pavilion that could be explosive off the ears. so, if you intend to use this to watch TV or movies, listen to music, etc., you might want to invest in good external speakers. I took some really nice ones at Radio Shack for 30 bucks. Good luck, you know you want to own this nice little machine!

I got this netbook for about two and a half weeks ago, which means I can not talk about long-term effects. But here’s what I was thinking about this netbook. I have a problem with my wrists for a long time to write down a difficult and painful, but I write 90 words per minute, so I got a HP Mini-100 (chosen because the keyboard is the best I have tried), for taking notes in school. HP was a good Do not get me wrong, but the display format was strictly adhered to, it fell to my main wireless signal at school within a month, and although it was a nice pattern on the back was not the most beautiful user interface out there. Seven months after I had accidentally broken screen warranty and told me that it is not repairable and I got the money back I paid for it. When you try to trade out of this netbook, and I hate it, but not its price, I eventually settled to buy this off Amazon, and get much cheaper online warranty. It arrived in a week, nicely packaged, and the power cord you had to assemble. It was much lighter than the HP Mini, and quite a bit more attractive looking. INTERFACE interface is gorgeous. The buttons are large and wide, the lights are displayed beautifully, and it is really sexy looking. Pattern is hardly visible horizontal lines behind the screen, which is not so nice and really does not work, even stylish, fun, black-silver bubbles HP Mini, but neither is immediately apparent. It is a small silver bar, reading the left-hand side of the gateway, where a small Gateway logo. I’m going to get the skin back when I can just do a bit prettier, but it’s not so necessary. This thins is a fingerprint magnet, though, and scratches easily, if the HP mini-chipped. You need to keep dust it off, and ester washing away fingerprints. During the two days it seemed that my HP Mini after I had it two months. So if you’re not gentle with the netbook (God knows I’m not), you may want to consider investing on the screen before it gets really scarred looking. Touchpad is a little difficult to use, and keep increasing, but I’m getting the hang of. DISPLAY screen, very high quality, and it will be much better webcam than the HP Mini, or one of my father’s Mac. This webcam is not very high quality, but it is very nice, and a lot of brightness / contrast / color settings to get you in the best light. Location webcam is a difficult angle-wise, of course, but it is only because it is a netbook. This will be Windows 7 Starter, which is a folder action organization similar to the Mac. I thought I was going to hate Windows 7, because I love XP’s taskbar and automatically so much clumping programs are my eternal existence. Stardock installing the program, apply your choice free theme (or onto the second), and it gives you a desktop wallpaper options including pictures of the file. You can not still use other web themes as Stardock’s, but they are not bad at all. Windows 7 also has gadgets that you can put on the desktop, and can be downloaded online. These work wonderfully, and I use to-do-list to follow my homework and notepad to follow my schedule. KEYBOARD Previously I found was difficult for me to type smaller keyboards and chose HP because of its keyboard is so broad. But when the months of writing, HP, I have learned to adapt, and this keyboard is full size, no, but it does not have those ugly ridges things that other people are doing and before I had spent hours netbook I could write just fine. If you have not used before or netbook not a good typer, the keyboard may take some getting used to, but it is clearly a large keypad and you can do a lot worse than the netbook vein. USB drive / electrical conductor / battery power connector is on the left side of the netbook. There are three USB ports, drive alone, which is more than enough for the average consumer. If this does not work, part of Hard Disk Drives in Windows Explorer folders, you can remove easily. No problems yet. The power cord is shorter than the HP Mini, and if you want to get over the room, get an extension. It fits my needs perfectly. I hope that did not end with clunky bar that goes down, making it difficult to shoot in the middle line of three or more outlets, but it may well turn things upside down and right side-up, so that is a plus. Battery life is stellar, much better than the HP Mini, and if you’re on battery gives you an estimate of how long you can use it as the current output range. I tend to really as Balanced looks like when it is plugged in, and you want to use it better display quite a bit more than my HP, I was content to turn when need be. CheapGateway LT2110u 10 1-inch Netbook White – Over 8 hours of battery life Life Great Machine! I just returned from my Toshiba NB-205 and exchanged it for this. I bought a Toshiba are all based on positive reviews. This machine had a lot of positisives, but not as much as the others. I figured since Acer owns Gateway, and Acer will make a nice low-cost laptops, this was a winner. Well, all I have to say that this is much better. Yes it is a new Intel chipset n450 and all the fine features. I have one with 250 GB HD. This thing is extremely fast and compact. I do not like the power settings are in balance and get great performance and battery life. I do not change its high-performance and to boost the overall speed. Starter Windows 7 is not bad and gets the job done. Win 7 Premium would be nicer, but I can dealwith it. I ordered a 2GB memory module, but it is surprisingly well-1GB. Compared with the Toshiba, it’s like night and day. Is the better player, has stereo speakers (and yes, you can hear them) the sound is excellent. It handles video is not a problem (720p). Netflix streaming is great, video and sound quality is excellent. Wifi is fast. I wish I had bluetooth, but I got a small BT dongle € 5 oo and it works well (Dealextreme). Laptop looks great, the keyboard is a bit cramped, but no different than any other netbook. I have wondered IPAD, but then I realized how limited it is compared to this.
